Hi Bob,

Sounds really promising …. with new hub.
To “good” for me at the moment as we are also starting HD and 2K in small market.

You just have really “objective” feel about stuff you test.
This is why i asked HDLink Pro. I presonally do not fancy MXO that Shane has review. Des not mach Multibridge to much in my eye.

But if i can get hold of one HDLink Pro i’ll definetly give feedback how SD upconversion looks.

Hi.

Yes i use STP all the time with Multibridge and it is perfect.

Would it be in theory possible to make driver that just takes audio and map it to system ? With FCP now i capture just audio and only 1 track and have no video at all. So i wonder if it would be possible to capture just audio like that. generally i see that it should be possible to get audio out of sdi so to say and send video to NULL device. I assume that sync and ref (component blank) video is inserted but only audio is captured.

Would this be possible in theory?
I underestand that it would need a lot of programming and R&D but i wonder if it would be possible in theory.

My goal would be to skip additional audio devices in my studio as possible 🙂

Yes not bad but again 1 TB Seagate disks with 32MB buffer.
With prorez it is more than sufficent 😉

Generally it gets you started 🙂

I think you should see sequence and project setings … something there might be off ?

720p will be “softer”

Hi again.

I can check it out next week on tuesday or so.
I have about 1 tb free so it qualifyes nicely.

I’ll test it out and let you know then if you can wait untill then.

Hi.

I got 3x 1 TB Seagate drives and i can get 300 MB / sec with epmty drives.
I used to have 3x 750 gb and it gave me 2xx MB / sec.

I’d say definetly go with 3 drives as it is physically faster to write on 3 drives.

Sise does also mather as i pointed out.
