You have also to change input in system prefs from sdi to component. (yuv)

Maybe layer nodes would help here as the position relative to other layers should adjust the intensity. Grain is also one thing that my clients ask if it can be done.

In production there is always a lot of questions. Availability, price, compatibility etc. We get really affordable price so why push it ?

One should test it. On internal raid it will drop faster in speed so if it fills up speed will drop.
I got around 300 mb with internal 4 x 1 tb drives. When you populate with 4 Hitachi enterprise grade 2 TB you should get 4 x 13x MB which is about 500 something, but also this is only my theory. Not tested in practice.
If it works then it is relatively cheap solution but only raid 0. Then you would need 8 tb of timemachine 🙂
Somebody could test it out. My new machine is still in factory still so i can not give any results yet.

If you populate all 4 internal bays in pro machine you should get some 300 400 MB sec 1tb or 2 tb drives which is a bit faster than esata. I did put my system drive to optical bay as the second device under dvd.
I got DPX SD frames smoothly running even on mbp.

I would go with 2 hdlink as both have more dedicated control.
At the moment i miss separate scope instead of soft scope.
Soft can do it but dedicated device would be better i think.—

It has its own SDI out usually i belive ?
God knows how it is done there. Regular io does not have 2 separate lut support as far as i know even if
software would do it.—

How exactly you imagine it ?
You have 1 io card with same output. There is nothing to do with Resolve. Even if resolve could do it
yo still have one io not 2.—
