I called Adobe and they suggested that the updates needed to be downloaded and installed. I’m in the process now (2 hr download on a T1). We’ll see how that goes and I’ll update this thread.

Did you look at the video tutorial? It showed a very fluid camera movement in the AE manipulation of the PS image.

    Must be a fix somewhere.

Thanks for the reply, but actually in the video tab under .avi or Quicktime, there are no options available under the Video tab. They are grayed out.

    Is this your experience?

Thanks, but if I choose a Quicktime or AVI format, none of the options below are available. Is this the correct function?

Actually I’ve never used sonic fire. I am editing in full HD for blue-ray and don’t know anything about Sonic Fire. Will it support all of my old Smartsounds Quicktracks?

Thank you for your comment. But once I have rendered my movie, how will I be able to share it if not on DVD? Almost everybody has a HD television these days and aren’t most DVD players HD compatible?

Look, I read the posts on here and can tell you that the guerrilla way is really popular these days. I would recommend a high end prosumer camera from BHphotovideo.com, a firewire driven laptop, some flourescent soft boxes, a high quality microphone and mixer, a fast laptop, wired connection to the Internet (not wifi) some time to practice and Vidblaster as your broadcast console which you or an assistant can manage very easily.

For the sake of full disclosure I will tell you that I am a re-seller of Vidblaster and would be happy to help you. Just let me know. And I have searched the world for equipment and can direct you I think to the most effective and reasonably priced.

September 22, 2008 at 2:24 am in reply to: “screen capture” videos are damaged in premiere

I have spent the entire day looking for an answer to this problem. I cannot find an answer to the basic question: Which screen capture program and/or codec works with Premiere Pro on a Windows machine?

Nothing I’ve done, or can find, or have read here seems to help me get to the bottom of the issue.

    Does someone have this answer?

Thanks. Pulling out what little hair I have to spare.
