Prior to advertising your service in public I would check the licenses.
I guess it all depends if a license is per machine or if it’s licensed to a user etc. make sure if everything is in the green.

this is very easy to accompish.
First you need a source video for your snow. For example like this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzf7l9Dsys0
download it, then in Premiere place it above your other video and in >effect controls > opacity, play around with the “blend mode” settings and chose one that suits your taste.
it works the same way with the circles. you just need to use a different source video.

If you want to create the source video by yourself, then you should use After Effects. Do a search for the plugin “particular” – by Red Giant.
or search for “create snow in red giant particular”

If anyone could help me a bit with the second part of the question it would be great.

So far I found a 4 years old tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0WfSRbwgNg that shows how to save presets and some other really old information here on the cow that mentions a plugin.

Since a lot of time has passed since than I am curious if some drastic changes are available in this department. In case that everything is still the same I’m going to stick to the procedure shown in the youtube tut.

Simon, I didn’t read through all the answers… so I’m sorry if this has been adressed already.

MAybe the cause is VERY simple… did you check if your quadro and the Tesla are in fact ENABLED after installing CC15.
I am using a Nvidia GTX 780Ti with an insanely high CUDA performance. But it shows up as unsupported.
I first had to manually enable it at
PREFERENCES> PREVIEWS> GPU INFORMATION > CHECK! Enable untested, unsupported GPU.

I’m in a bit of a hurry… and I’m not sure if my answer if what you’re looking for…. but I THINK I might have the solution.

If I got it right, you have trouble to move a single point of a mask vs moving the whole thing.

>draw your mask
>select the layer that includes the new mask
>twirl open until you see all the parameters of your mask…. mask path, mask feather mask opacity, mask expansion etc….
> make sure your selection tool is active (v)
> now if you want to move a single point of your mask, highlight the layername, NOT the mask! you now should be able to move a single point if you click and drag on it – if you SHIFT click another point you are able to move more points.
>if you click and highlight “mask path” it will activate ALL points of your mask and you can move all points at once… to “switch back”, you just need to click on any other mask parameter (feather, opacity, expansion) in order to deactivate it.

Hi Pat, sorry for the late reply.

I can only make a suggestion for windows7. But If you’re on a different version I guess the procedure is similar. I don’t know how to do it on a Mac though.

Probably the simplest and fastest way is to go to > Start > click on “Computer” > somewhere in the top of the explorer window that opens you should see now “uninstall or change a program” > click on it > now you see a list of all your installed software > in the top- right of this window there is a small “drop down” menu > click on the tiny arrow (triangle) > from the drop down list that opens now, choose “details” > now you see several columns. one of them is named “installed on” > click it > now your programs should be ordered in the sequence of their install date.

This doesn’t sound like a premiere problem. It’s more likely caused by some other software/plugin which is installed on your machine.

Try disabling anything that could interfere with the audio on your machine, check if you were using any audio plugins in your project and disable them one by one.

Do the pops occur at exactly the same spot if you re-render the files?
If yes, then try applying a very short fade-in and see if this fixes the problem. Not a solution, but might be ok as a temp work around until you figured out the real cause.

EDIT: I just re-read your post… since you already keyframed the volume, applying a fade in surely won’t fix the problem.

I experienced problems like the one you describe in the past… in it ALWAYS had to do with some other programs that have “updated” some core files during installation or made unwanted changes on core settings.
Check your installation log > sort by date and see if there is anything that fits the timeframe.
