    Hi Craig,

    Tried those suggestions.

When I export with current settings, Pro Res, all is good, interlaced.

I have also tried exporting to H264 and the file becomes progressive.

    Is there a bug ?

Or I am missing a step in sending to Compressor ?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi James,

I am experiencing the same issues, trying to maintain interlaced video but FCPX via Compressor 4 is convert to progressive.

Did you find the fix for this ?

    Thanks.

No luck with turning OFF frame controls, compressor is still outputting Progressive.

I have been checking video results by re-import to FCPX.

    Also used VIDEOSPEC

    Hi Craig,

    Thanks for your response.

Yes, it is for broadcast, I need to FTP the footage and these are the specs I’ve been given.

As you suggest , I’ll set frame controls and then turn off.

Material is shot as 1080/50i and edited as interlaced, now I need to compress as interlaced.

    Appreciate anymore input.

    Regards.

    Thanks Chris,

Just to put my mind at rest, they are switchable and record NTSC and PAL.
