I think that is a good way to do it, but if I’m not mistaken, that re-compresses it twice (once in Premiere and then again in QuickTime Pro). Try the “File–>Export–>Media Encoder” option. There you can select different types of encodings (including MPEG2).

You should be able to save an effect by right clicking on that effect (in the ECW) and click on “save preset”. Those effects will appear under the “Presets” bin in the ECW.

Make sure you are “inserting” the clip and not overlaying it. Drag your clip over to the timeline, but before letting go of the mouse button, make sure you are holding downt he “CTRL” key. This will put you in “insert edit” mode. That should do it for you.

Make sure that when you create your project, you select the preset that says “Wide Screen”. That should do it. I shot many videos in 16×9 and edited in PPro 1.5 no problem.

Yeah. Thanks. I was hoping there was an easier way by just dragging and dropping the clips or just dragging the actual tracks around. No worries. I guess I’m just being lazy! 😉

Unfortunately, the track select tool didn’t move the tracks up and down. It only works with the clips inside the track. What I want to do is physically move the entire track up and down in between other tracks.

Any other ideas? Am I doing it incorrectly?

So then what will be the difference between Pro Anim and Invigorator? Will they be merging in the future (I don’t own Pro Anim, so I’m be wrong at stating that they sound similar).

Thank you so much for some great feedback. I agree with you about the transitions. I hate 3D transitions, but the client wanted them. I will also look into SpiceMaster Pro. It looks really good.
