That’s a great idea, however, my only question is this. If I purchase a cheap DV camera (to use as you suggested for capturing only), will it be able to play back my tapes that I recorded on the XL 2 in 24P/16:9 mode. Or 60i? That’s my only issue. Or does it not matter to a DV camera? It will play anything

OH. I was hopping there was a better way to do it. A long time ago I use to do editing on Sony Vegas 5, and I don’t remember exactly how now, but there was a way to say the in, the out and then “Stretch it” on the timeline and told it to loop those two points. Ok, but if that is the only way, I guess I can create a sequence of that loop and then reuse that in my other sequences.

Interesting. I don’t use it on the Mac. On the PC it’s really sweet. It’s got a great interface and I can pretty much convert to just about anything. I’m in version 4.2, which now supports the new Flash code (Flash 8)

Have you tried Sorenson Squeeze? They have a Mac Version…
