Yes I’m on a PC…sigh…the movie has been rendered before, many times to an external MAXTOR 160GB…its (the movie)only 40MB or so. I’ve eliminated the layers at the point where the movie stops rendering…same problem. ???????

    Thanks for responding Dave,

Unfortunately I’m on a PC. Darn! I’m trying to copy Java code into AE text layers without trying to retype it.

    I’ve downloaded the 6.5 update…didn’t solve it.

But it seems a still layer(2040 X2367 2.3 mb) I had mesh warp on is is possibly the culprit. Once I took the effect off, the preview worked again. Anyone know why meshwarp (a pretty standard effect) would give me so much trouble?

This is not the problem. I’ve tried previewing different parts of the work area with the ‘b’ and ‘n’ keys. No luck…same error message.

    Hi Chris,

This is just a simple example…1 camera, 1 layer. Sure, why wouldn’t I just change the camera timing in comp 1. But what if I had multiple cameras and multiple layers, and I wanted to change the timing of comp 1 with motion blur. I’m guessing it would be alot simpler to adjust one layer’s timing properties in comp 2(comp 1 is now a layer in comp 2), than several cameras properties in comp 1. Comp 1 would always be my master comp. I love answering my own questions. CC motion blur works great by the way. Thanks for the reply.

Is there a way to use video in Zaks inv classic…other than targa and jpg as a reflective source?

Thanks for your response. I do have Zaks Inv, and the reflective properties in it work great once I apply the photo to my a vector rectangle. Do you know of any other way I can create this same effect without going into a 3D app like Zaks Inv…It’s so darn RAM gobbling! The photo itself that is to be reflective does not need to be 3D, just 2 1/2D if you know what I mean.
