Hello. Dvcpro50 is compressed at 3.3:1 and Dvcpro100 at 6.7:1

Hello. If the avi is 8 bits, then is a bug of AE, very annoying. Try capture uncompressed 10 bits.

Hello. Yes, yesterday I try to capture DV and it does not work. Then I uninstalled the BM driver and I can to capture DV. This is very annoying.
Any solution?

Hello. Excuse me, my english is poor. AE preview one field only, not the whole frame. This is only the preview in monitor, in the rendering process AE use the two video field (whole frame), of course.

This is normal. AE only preview a field.

Hello. Standard PAL DV is lower field, but Matrox codecs (also Matrox DV)and BM codecs are upper field.

In Windows, DVCPRO HD codec is suported by Canopus (SP for HDV) and Matrox Axio-Premiere (soon).
