    hmmmmmm, curious. I hadn’t heard of the mettle plugin before. That may be worth exploring. It looks like it may be able to do exactly what I want.

    Sorry for the very late reply. I’ve been up to my elbows in deadlines. This post was very helpful and has been working very well! This seems to be a great workaround. Can’t wait to upgrade to CS6 and enjoy a smoother DL process.

    I may roll back the driver later. It actually seems to player better at full res than half or quarter res…weird.

    Asus boards are usually good. The ASUS Sabertooth X79 has been rated very high for stability. Get at least 8GB or RAM

    Angelo, I do need some emotion to come through. I’m familiar with the basic vowel shape technique but want something a little more fluid and expressive. I’m animating the actual shape of the masks.

    Tom, that might be a decent, cheap and quick method. I’ll look into that.
