It’s not interlaced, so that won’t be an issue.

Yeah, that kramer tutorial is great. It’s basically adding a glass reflection in the fore ground. Usually does the trick.
Also, you might want to try using a white BG when keying. It’s up to you though.

okay, in keylight, just try previewing the screen matte. It appears that maybe you’ve cranked the screen gain too high.
You could also try applying some screen pre-blur before you do the key.

No Steve. The clip is like 00:02:27 and the comp is 00:30:00.
Okay. I’ll try that Mike. Would precomping do anything to a clip that has no effects applied to it? Wouldn’t that just be like dropping the clip into another comp?
In the mean time, I went back to Avid ,created a 30 fps clip, and then re-exported.

It is a great tool. I too was operating an old XL1s before I bought my hvx. It’s great so far.

720p, recording at 60 fps, played back at 30 fps.
I believe in 24pn, “n” being the key, that you can actually see the effect in-camera. In that mode, it actually gives each frame it’s 1/24 of a second (creating that slow motion in camera).
I don’t know if that makes any sense to you. I’m still pretty knew with my HVX as well, and am still getting my head around all of the various frame rates.
