    Dave’s not here man…

Yes, a mask will be required. If you click and drag with the pen tool, it will create Beziers.

Also, you may have to recreate part of the back ground, depending on how large the object replacing the lion will be.

Oh, and you may want to duplicate the logo and mask off the bottom half so that you can slip in the new object behind it.

You could do that in After Effects, but it would be much easier in a 3D app.

Either way, I think you’d have to lay down some cash; unless you have a friend that can help ya out.

The camera was, indeed, locked down.

Build a clean plate? Would you try to auto trace them? I really don’t want to animate a mask by hand.

I’ve already got the morph pretty much finished up. It looks decent. I would like it to look a little better though.

I’m going to play with it a little longer and then post the results.

You ask if I have clean plates? They are all currently in the dish washer.

No clean plates for this project.

    Thanks for the suggestion Amit.

I don’t know if the “MTV Zoom” is going to fit the style of this particular spot, but I’ll definitely keep it in mind for future projects.

    Thanks.

Okay. Thank you all for your advice.

Dave, I think you may be right. Using colors would be a hell-of-alot easier.

beenyweenies, I agree with you. The client kinda wanted things to “morph” but I don’t know if I’ll be able to pull it off with my equipment and budget.

Oh, and the story doesn’t make sense because I only posted three out of 10 boards 😛

I’ll let you know how things turn out.

I think the key is being able to choose a light as your emitter. With all of the other particle generators, you are only able to select “layers”. So, no luck so far.
