Many Thanks for your concern and help.

i have tried the link but it only contains versions of BRU with out any drivers . i what i’m seeking is any archives for the HighPoint RR 27xx cards drivers to try to get my mac read the card first and then , it is a very good idea to try to get a demo version of BRU to test it.

i hope you keep a copy of your latest driver used with this card , of course if you still use it.

update:

i have managed to get the device detected under windows by just installing the driver .

so, it looks i just missing the driver under mac .

i hope any one have a copy of old drivers that can be used to be installed under mac

Hi Pedro,

i know that the post is quite old but i’m facing a problem regarding the same SAS card ( 2711 ) and i can see you had an experience with .
i’m working on Mac Osx 10.11 and the card can’t detect My IBM LTO device at all.

i tried to contact HighPoint but they are saying that they don’t support LTO device on their cards anymore .
i have managed to make it worked under windows by just installing the driver but under mac there is no driver to be installed and it only uses the default pr installed one.

i hope you still have any copies for these drivers you use in installing the card to share it with me.
