Problem detecting an LTO 6 Drive with RocketRAID 2711.
Hello All.
I’m trying to connect my IBM LTO 6 device to my Mac Pro running 10.11.6.
However, P5 Archiware can not detect the device. I have changed the bios to a quich bios version but still can not detect it.
I have contacted Highpoint but they said that they don’t support LTO drivers any more. Although all the manuals are stating the card supports connecting lto devices.
Hope any one has a way to solve the problem as I have just purchased the card and it took a month to be shipped from USA to here. -

update:
i have managed to get the device detected under windows by just installing the driver .
so, it looks i just missing the driver under mac .
i hope any one have a copy of old drivers that can be used to be installed under mac
