Have you got Edit To Tape in editing mode and got the correct audio channels enabled?

I’ve just tried to do the same type of job using our FCP 6 system, which has a Kona LHE card and I’m getting the exact same problem, has anyone ever experienced this, the projects are set as 1080i/25 ProRes 422 either standard or HQ with 10ch mono audio outputs.

No, I have my timecode set to start at either 09:59:00:00 or 01:00:00:00 depending on client. As I said when I do a batch export the timecode track is exported correctly and I can see a timecode track is there in QuickTime when I press Apple+J but when doing a single export it isn’t there.
I’m wondering if it could be something to do with the long duration because if I pick a small section and mark an in and out point, then do a single export the resulting .mov does have a timecode track.

I’ve checked and everything is set to 24, sequence settings, capture settings, codec settings, device control, my reference, the source is 24Psf.
I should be a bit clearer, I’m trying to join a feature that’s split over two SR’s into one QuickTime, the join is at about 1 hour 20 mins. I’ve just done a test and cut some 10 second or so sections of 24p together and the problem doesn’t occur so it could be something to do with the long duration between cuts?
I’ve since re-captured the same feature at 25Psf as this is actually what the client wanted and the problem hasn’t occured and I have a nice clean join so like I said earlier it has to be something to do with using 24 within Final Cut.

Might be worth exporting to Motion JPEG in QuickTime and just changing the extension from .mov to .mjpg to see if that works.
