thanks darby. Thats not it. No matter what size the bounding box is the text wont go to the next line. When i type a sentence, it gets to the edge of the bounding box and then begins to type back over what i just typed. It doesn’t erase the first sentence. It types on top of it. I have no clue what its doing.

Hey guys. I used the preset in compressor but there is no audio when I play it back. What could be the deal? When you say to use compressor…do i use the dvd mpeg 1 preset or is there another one? Thanks guys. Oh, and I don’t have toast so that wont work. Thanks though.

thanks guys. I mainly just want to get rid of it so I can get a laptop for class and travel. I just need a bulky desktop anymore for what I use it for. I’m probably going to try to sell it on ebay. It’ll be worth it just getting rid of the thing so it will be out of my way. I appreciate the input.

Thanks for the quick reply.

What do you mean by choosing one of the square pixel alternatives?

I start a new composition (NTSC) widescreen and uncheck the keep 4:3 aspect box. (right?)

when i render it out in the queue do i just leave it as lossless, best quality, etc.?

sorry if these questions are pesky I just have a hard time figuring out this part of the process. Thanks.

Thanks Mr. Harrington. Point taken. I’m far from reaching “a wall”. I just figured there were probably certain plug-in’s that most people use on a regular basis that don’t come with AE. I’ll trust your judgment and keep working on learning what I have now. Thanks again for taking the time to give your advice.

I’ve taken a class on AE and I’ve been using it on campus for the last two years. I know enough about it now to know that what AE comes with isn’t enough to do everything I want to do. I was just wondering what are some of the more useful and commonly used plug-in’s and presets that are out there. Sorry I didnt’ make myself clear. Thanks for the help.

Thanks Dan.
It was technically a project for school so I was mainly using a lot of the footage I’ve filmed lately just to show my professor. But I want to construct it into a finished product to send out to people.

2. I have some lit interviews i’ve lit and filmed but I didnt have them on my hard drive when I edited my reel. I’ll try to fit them in now.

3. the Vignetting looked better on my monitor than it did on the web. It was cut off at the action safe zones and just made the edges a little soft. I def. agree its doesn’t look good right now.

4. Thanks for the complements on the underwater shots. I want to get some more of that.

Thanks for all the help. I’ll def. update it as soon as I get plenty of feedback and see what i can do.
