Yes you’re right,
just to add this solution which works fine with another AE versions. This is an old issue in AE.

I’ve solved the same sync problem in AE replacing the .aif with .wav or a simple .mov quicktime movie containing the sound. Any sound editor capable to save as one of these formats will do the job.

Thanks Haik, but the idea is to take advantage of the paint tool options, in this case applying a write-on effect. That’s why I need a smooth and perfect curves, no matter the fast I draw.
