Thanks for the response. I do use keyboard shortcuts and the problem is Command L isn’t working.
It does add and take away the underlines to the video track, but not to the audio tracks. When I try CmndL on only the audio it doesn’t appear to change anything and the underline stays.

Hi. I cleared a bunch of space on my HD and things did speed up. No i’m not editing off an external or usb. Now, just as things were back on track, another, more annoying problem started. Before, I was able to just put the slide over the video and it didn’t need to render at all. Now, it does.
I don’t know why this just started happening but it is taking a lot longer.
Thoughts? -
In Final Cut it’s a transition. They have a circle, diamond, square and star shape.

Actually I had each image transition in separately. Could I still use photoshop and divide it by layers?
and then how big should the photoshop page be for 16.9? -
I just opened a new project, so everything’s at it default settings.

Thanks for the tips, I set the availability to all effects but I’m still missing these and others. The library thing could be right, how can I check.
anyway, its Final Cut Pro 7.0 and FCE 4.0
