We’ve been using this and it works great. The only problem we notice, is if we are cutting apple pro res material, then our sequence setting is the same as the clip settings. When we apply the matte to the sequence, it has green line. After rendering it, the matte disappear.
Please advise how do we solve the problem or any work around.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear.
Yes it came back.
Match frame glitch….
There is a clip (#1) on the sequence that he overwrite with a new clip (#2). When he match frame the #2 it matches back to #1. He overwrite it again using #2 and this time it matches back to #2.

Thanks Jeremy for replying to this post.
First the fcp user lost the video while he was editing. External video is set to all frames. I turned it off and set it back to all frames. There goes video signal to the TV.
Then the next problem is match frame. It match frame to the old clip that he overwrite. He overwrite it again and this time it works.
I wish there is a log why those glitch happen.

I have almost the same situations.
My friend only copied the mts files from the camera built in hard drive to his computer. I copied it to my external drive and try importing it to FCP using log and transfer and got the same error message”folder” contains unsupported media…..”.
He told me that the big “?” was later deleted and new video recorder over to the camera built in hard drive.
How about if I copy the mts files back to the camera built in hard drive, is that going to work? If not, is there other options?
Thanks.

Sorry I just want to clarify something. You’ve mentioned before E6 and now you said B6.
Which one is correct?

I believe it’s preference. He decided to use Sennheiser MKH416, because he used it before on his previous dvd commentary
Should I use unidirectional or omnidirectional E6?

That was the recommendation of our vendor (rental company), but the producer doesn’t like it. I don’t remember what type of E6 did we rent.
Obviously should be unidirectional? Is that correct?

Hello Ty.
It’s for DVD commentary. The movie cast will talk about the feature in the sound booth while they are watching it. They will hear the feature and the conversation from the headphones. They’ll talk thru the microphones, then goes to mic preamps (focusrite ISA 428) then to Protools.
The Neumann TLM is 102 is over our budget. How about around $500 or less?
Thanks,

I heard good reviews of Neumann U87, but it’s expensive. It’s over our budget. I’ll check your suggested mic list.
Thanks for the info.
