On system log it shows that fcp crash, formulating crash log to this file path, etc. Is there a separate log for fcp that gives you an error code or why the user is having problem with rendering, not getting video signal, matching frame to the wrong clips, etc.?

    Thanks,

Not that I am aware of, but that sounds like a lot of big problems. What is happening?

Thanks Jeremy for replying to this post.

First the fcp user lost the video while he was editing. External video is set to all frames. I turned it off and set it back to all frames. There goes video signal to the TV.

Then the next problem is match frame. It match frame to the old clip that he overwrite. He overwrite it again and this time it works.

I wish there is a log why those glitch happen.

[Lot Mallari] “There goes video signal to the TV.”

meaning it came back? Or it’s still gone?

[Lot Mallari] “Then the next problem is match frame. It match frame to the old clip that he overwrite. He overwrite it again and this time it works.”

I’m not quite following this one.

You can try the Console Log, but I don’t think it will tell you what you want.

    Sorry if I wasn’t clear.

    Yes it came back.

    Match frame glitch….

There is a clip (#1) on the sequence that he overwrite with a new clip (#2). When he match frame the #2 it matches back to #1. He overwrite it again using #2 and this time it matches back to #2.
