This happens if you set the view to “details” and double click the name.
Either double-click on an other field, or set view to “list” or “thumbnails”.Best regards

I read the problems too, and did not upgrade to 244 because of it. I need a well working Vegas at any time ☺
However, upgraded to 252 and have no problems with it, I think you can safely upgrade too.
I feed youtube with 15Mbps fullHD mainconcept AVC, and have all the resolutions after a while. It takes some time for youtube to fully process the uploaded files. First I see only 360p too, but after 10 minutes or so, 720p appears, and short after that 1080p too.
There’s the option “allow legacy GPU rendering” on the general settings tab. If you enable this, you’ll have the GPU options shown on the render dialogs.Best regards

Hi,
I saw similar strange things when upgraded to Vegas13 and started to use GPU acceleration – with a Radeon 6970.
These problems for me got sorted out in Vegas14. Since then things work fine for me.
You may also have trouble with the display driver itself. .Upgrade or downgrade a few versions back to see if it helps.
But first of all, try disable GPU, then do the test render again.
Everything will be way much slower, but if errors disappear, you can be sure the problem is somewhere in the way your GPU works for you.
If the problem still persists with disabled GPU, even X-file agents wont be any help to you, you’ll need ghost busters ☺Best regards

The same here…
Just weanted to drop the reply, but Aleksey was quicker.
I started a new empty project, with 2560*1080 (as it was mentioned befofore as target res.) @25P resolution.
For me it works as expected. Minor difference, that the crop for me is correct at 3840*1620, not 3840*1646.
I don’t see the weird behavior.
I’m on Windows 7 home 64 bit / Vegas 14 pro build 252.Best regards

Just thinking:
is that the last file from that cam? Is there a chance, that the cam was shut down abnormally?
(I think something like switching off before stopping REC, or run out of battery?)

Maybe that file is corrupt in a way?
What happens if you add that file to a brand new empty project?
I also would try to repack/remux it without reencoding:
ffmpeg -i that-file.mp4 -vcodec: copy -acodec: copy output.mp4
(or even to different container, say .mov)

Sorry, I didn’t look it close enough. I see now.
You say you tried to reimport this video many times.
Did you completely remove this clip from the project also, or just deleted from the timeline?
If you just deleted from the timeline, try to remove it from the project as well.
(On “Project media” look for the video, select it then “delete” or right click it, then select “Remove from project” from the menu there).
And then try to add it to the project again.
