October 5, 2016 at 2:09 pm in reply to: Vegas Pro 13 rendering corrupted by any video operation on the PCHi,
I still remember the previous thread.
So you say, if you touch that machine during rendering via rdp, or play movies with vlc, the problem arises at that moment?
But if you leave it alone, it works for -say- 65 hours, and then the problem rises again? If you leave out NBFX lens correction, and do the same render, and do something that in the previous situation triggers the problem, what happens then? Is then that test render also corrupt?
If not, I’m afraid the culprit is the lens correction plugin.Best regards

You can still add ac3 audio to a compilation, and if you add other type of audio, it will be converted to ac3 (if the disc is set to have ac3 and not uncompressed PCM audio).
Just to be more precise, they removed only AC3 pro.
If they wouldn’t do this, there would be absolutely zero change to DVDA6 – from what I see.
And I didn’t expect anything to change…
I really never-ever had any single problem with any recent version of DVDA, while I created different kind of discs from the single movie to more level menu pages with animated buttons and backgrounds, and more audio tracks + subtitles.
No crash, no bug, no annoyance. Just works.
I don’t think, this has to be changed ?Well, looking at DVDA 7.0 I feel I would like to get ac3 pro back.
(And if someone at Magix reads this: please no flat BW icons! Don’t “upgrade” them as did it for Vegas! Just ac3 pro back…)
Others want to see 4K bluray support.
So, there’s only a small room for improvement 🙂Best regards

The upload time depends on internet connection, I think.
The rendering time depends on source footage format is being used, but if effects are involved that can hugely impact the rendering speed.
So when it’s about CPU only rendering (as the above posts makes me think) a chroma-key can increase render time a lot, and a blur is even worse in that aspect. So far we got no information (or I did overlook it) about the contents of the project.
How many tracks are there in?
How many and what effects are involved?Best regards

I didn’t do too much care for this, just wrote every relevant info into the description.
That should do it until there will be a correct support page 🙂Best regards

Yes ?
Let’s say, I want a counter, Vegasaur gives the option to choose single event, or multiple events.
If I choose single event, there will be a lot of keyframes in that single event 🙂Best regards

So here it comes…
10647_webmconvert.zip
Just unzip it anywhere, and run.
This small program requires ffmpeg.exe to be in the same directory, where it is launched from. I also packed ffmpeg.exe, but you can replace it any time you wish -for example a new version comes out-. You can download it from ffmpeg.org.
I also uploaded the source, in case you -or anone else- decides to improve it:
10648_webmconvertsource.zip
You need Lazarus IDE to compile it.Originally I wanted to hide ffmpeg window, and display a progress bar instead while it is working. But I don’t have experience about webm converting, there may be other bugs in this program, so I decided to let ffmpeg be visible, so it’s possible to track what it’s exactly doing.
If you find this tool stable and reliable, we can do this improvement later.
Go, get and try it!
And let me know what modifications you need 😉Best regards

[Graham Bernard] “Are you implying that there are tools to create such a script?
“
Vegasaur text generator can create keyframed text, so there must be at least one way to do it 😉Best regards

How does your serial look like?
If it is P3-#####-#####-#####-#####-#####-###### where # stands for numbers only, it seems to be valid only for Vegas14.
If it looks like 1TR-####-####-#### where # can be numbers and letters, then it should be valid for Vegas 13.Best regards
