Thanks for the info..I will just post this because I struggled a bit with this, in case someone else has the same issue.
I should have known this but didn’t even think about it:
Both the properties in DVD Arch and in Vegas need to be set at PAL settings. I didn’t even think about that!

I should also note that I would be using it to transfer old home recordings from cassettes, reel to reel so compatibility is a huge issue for me. My clients are everyday people not audio professionals.
