Definitely not QuickTime conversion, just QuickTime movie, it has made no difference if the file is self contained or not. The audio is included in the export, although it is just temp. It makes to difference if the audio is removed from the sequence or not and the render does not include any rendering for audio.

    I’ve got a good one for you…

If you disable the Alpha channel (set Alpha to ‘None’) in a ProRes 4×4 clip I have to enable ‘show excess luma’ in order to get this action to actually take effect. As soon as you turn ‘show excess luma’ off, it goes right back to enabling the alpha channel again, despite the clip still being set to ‘None’.

    Oh upgrades…

    Hey Chrispy,

We are having a very similar problem. Regardless of Insert of Assembling our frame accuracy is occasionally spot on and occasionally half a frame off. Have tried everything from enabling all different forms of deck control, offset frame adjustments and had the deck recently serviced – but still the same problem outputting with the Kona LHe card. Seems to completely random in terms of whether it happens or not. We also have our setup tied through Kona Sync Gen and outputting to Sony DVW-500 D-Beta.

We even had Kona replace the card, but still no solution.

    Thanks Mike,

Guess I was secretly hoping this feature was silently added in fcp 6
