Many thanks for your reply. Here’s some additional information that you asked for;
I’m upgrading from FCS2 to FCS3.
All apps were closed while I was installing- standard issue for any and all machines and their OS’s.
I always restart after installing – hangover from having to work on Windoze!
As for wiping and reinstalling OS and FCS? I hear you but that’s not practical (at this moment) and I live with the consequences of that.
I have found a cure though! After going through a software update check, there was an update to Protools and this appears to have cured the issue along with the one I was having with Qmaster.
So your reply made me rethink the whole scenario I had gotten myself into, Dave and thankfully all is running shipshape and Bristol fashion as I type.
