HI, Ben! So, if I cut the frame out, it won’t affect the music?????? Because that’s what worry about.

Thanks for asking! I realize I didn’t say.

I’ve got original video of execrable quality. Just awful. Lowest possible lighting, visual noise like crazy. I’m trying to make it viewable as part of an actual movie, much of which is film. If I use/overdo the noise reduction effect, the visual noise is lessened by a lot but the effect is tooooo blurry. If I put sharpening at anything over “none” here’s the noise again. I’ve heard that upres-ing the video to 60fps will help sustain any sharpness I do have. I downloaded an app that would do that. It will only render the footage out in mp4. That’s why I thought of compressor. It didn’t occur to me to change the project settings!!!!!! That’s how dumb I’ve become. No I make it bigger and then smaller, which helps. Truth is I don’t know how to use compressor. That’s another learning curve, but I have some time if that’s what I need. I also have all the Adobe stuff. I’m a big fan of AfterEffects.
