I meant High definition Video, and yes I shot it as such, in LP mode.
Apparently you can shoot it, maybe not capture it…

Hi Jeff,
thank you for your input. I checked the camera and it seems to have all the correct settings to playback HDv. But Premiere CS5 still does not recognized it.
Any thoughts?

Hi Ann,
I tried what you suggested. I don’t know if HDV split works with Windows 7. I also was not able to download some required drivers because the following link was not working. https://hdvforever.com/hdv/hdrhc1/freecapture/default.htm
So unfortunately still no solution
Do you have any other ideas?

I have tried it but it did not work. Still no response from P CS5.
Any other ideas would be welcomed. 🙂

Hi Jeff,
thanks for the help. I did as you said, but the outcome was the same. I discovered though, but this in prior versions of my burnt dvd, that my MAC plays the disks correctly and that the highlights buttons show up there. The dvd also play correctly on a dvd player.
How can this be figured out?

Michael,
did you find out how to fix this problem? I am now experiencing it,
all of a sudden and I have not gotten anywhere near a solution. I have the same problem with corporate clients and don’t know what other product I should use if this does not get fixed.
I have Encore cs3 and I am on a pc

I built the disk image and tried to burn that one and it froze the same way. Should I uninstall ?
