I had subtititles as png on finalcut. title by title named “0001.png” and then I exported an XML and imported in Davinci. It worked fine, but now I’m trying to repeat the action and it does not work!
It appear there is an issue on naming, since the xml name the files as they are call “0001.png” and Davinci reads the png either as a sequence as [0001-0200].png or it read as a 1 frame sequence [0001-0001].png so it does not connect.
My big issue is that how I did it before??? And now it does not work?
Is there any new workflow on that?

Had that on davinci resolve 10 and mavericks and just did the firmware update

And I have a matrox box plug in, if I unplug it and just play in the computer it runs… The funny thing is that it was not doing that till 3 days ago… -
the BWF2XML doesn’t run in the computer, it says apple script error… maybe it’s because it’s for final cut5? I’m working with 6..
if anybody have more ideas please let me know

The FCP is the same in both computers, and I did copy the project from one to the other….
I will try the bwf2xml thing.
But if I created an AIF from this wave (different file) put in the final cut and edit, should it work? or the AIFF keeps the metadata from the wav.
I’m using NDFf time line, I’ll try put it in a DF to see if change’s anything.
What about if I export the audio via soundtrack and generate a new one, to you think it might work?

Hi there, thank you fofr the response. I had the midia in one computer and I copy it for a external drive and than back to the other computer, so it’s the same media. I tried coping again and it doesn’t work.
To sinc the wavs I just gave a in in the moment a hear the “hit” and sinc with the image, I didn’t connect the two clips, I already tried connecting with the clip, tried connecting with an exported AIFF, tried midia manager, and when it goes to another computer it doesn’t match the time code.
Actually, for example station1 clip1 have one time code and the clip1 in the station2 project have a different time code. BIZARRE it’s like the stations generates differents timecodes for the same clip. But the timecode supposelly was generated in the digital marker at the shooting.
More strange is that this only happens with the AUDIO clips that were recordered separated by the audio technitiais, the other clips, directly from RED or from 5D don’t have this problem.
PLEASE HELP…
