DO NOT DO THIS! You will not be able to open premiere! People come here for help Joseph JahJa, not to be deceived! Unlike yourself, we are under deadlines and need to try to find fixes for our problems, not add to them!

Thanks for the info. I was struggling with those same issues myself. It looks more and more like a new set should be designed.

We are a local news station and don’t have a huge budget, as was the reason to look at virtual.

    Thanks again,
    Larry

    Michael,

Thanks for the info. Can you tell me who did your captioning for you?

Thanks for the input Bryan. I did some research on the Panasonic model and that is the one I’m going to go with.

I have on more question about size? Do you think 50″ is too big? The clients will be sitting approximately 10 to 12 feet away. I don’t want to make them feel like they are in the first row of a movie theater.

    Thanks,
    Larry

I’ve replaced all the colons with semicolons, but I have not tried subtracting 2;09 from all the timecodes.

    I will let you know.

    Thanks,

It only gives me one option: Field 1.

I can’t find anywhere else to choose another field.

The .scc files have colons in the timecode (00:00:00:00)and the Encore timeline has semicolons in the time code (00;00;00;00). I changed the .scc original file to semicolons and it still didn’t work.

I did notice that the .scc file starts @ 00:00:02:09, but my timecode in Encore starts @ 00;00;00;00. Could that be the problem?

    If so, any thoughts?

    Thanks again,
    Larry

    Hi Nikolas,

As far as price range I have a budget of up to $2500 to spend. The NLE has HDMI, component, y/c and composite output. What is your opinion between plasma and LCD?

    Thanks for your input!

    Bob,

I need a monitor for my clients to go “wow!”

I will definitely check that on out. Is there a difference picture quality and/or longevity between an LCD or a Plasma?

    Thanks,
    Larry

    Uli,

Thanks for the link! I read the entire article and it was very informative along with the pics. The HVX200 is the camera that I will suggest to “the powers that be” in my upcoming presentation.

    Thanks,

Thanks for the feedback. I was looking at some of the accessories that were mentioned, but wanted to get some of your views.
