    I have overlooked that function entirely!

    I thought there might be a simple solution to my issue.

  • Let me try again!

    I take a 30 minute TV program and need to cut out three sections of 5 or so minutes each. These sections are deleted and the remaining programs sections fill the gaps with new transitions.

    The issue for me is that the audio volume envelope nodes(via insert point) and the changes over the timeline in the audio envelope get shortened when the sections are deleted and no longer stay in relationship with the audio file it originally modified.

    So the audio envelope must be completely redone when a program is shortened (or lengthened)
