Sure- I’m running CS3 Production Suite on an HP dv8000 and it’s running smooth as glass. Suddenly in Premier, my run cue isn’t triggering. I can scrub and see picture and hear scrubbed audio, but my clips won’t run on the timeline. I’m using the very current version of Aspect HD from Cineform and shooting clips with a JVC HD at 720p. The clips won’t run in the source or monitor screens either. I can hovever, play the clips in both Windows Media Player and Quicktime outside of Premiere. It’s like I caught a bug! I’ve been producing finished corporate video with this system for 2 years. Can you reinstall just Premiere CS3 from the suite or do you have to do the whole thing? Maybe that’s the quickest fix. Lar

Jon- I solved my problem. You just double click the sequence in the project bin and the timeline appears. After a save, it opens up on startup just fine. thanks for your help. Larry

Jon- I am just opening them in CS3, not importing. All the assets come in, but no timeline. It’s weird. All my projects, HD or SD in PP 2.0 will not open with the timeline in CS3.

  • Mike- Did you find an answer? I’m having the same trouble. Larry

  • I’m having the same trouble but can’t find the sequence to timeline command in the project tab. Help! Larry

Blast1- my reply to Scot Scot- I solved it. You must enable video overlay function in the advanced NVidea settings and then select full screen mode. Now I have a full screen output of the program monitor from my VGA out to an InFocus HD projector and it’s fantastic. Now I can edit HDV within PP 2.0 using the Aspect HD plug in and see it up big instead of just on the program monitor on the desktop. This is very important to editors who are confined to seeing just the program output on the small window on their desktop while editing HDV. I’m so happy. Add this to your 30 years of experience. I’m sure it will come up with other users. Thanks again for your help. With your input and Cineforms, we solved it. Larry
