The focus/iris remote comes out on a 4-pole/3.5mm plug.
D is the ring and A,B,C are the contacts inwards to the tip.
The voltage on B is the Focus – 0V is near and 2V is far.
When D is open the cam is auto-iris, when D is GND the cam is
    manual-iris.
The voltage on C is the iris -0V is open and 2V is closed.

    The zoom/s.s is a 3-pole jack.
C is the ring and A the tip.
Every time A is grounded recording starts or stops.
B is the zoom voltage also between 0V and 2V giving a variable
    zoom speed.
C is connected to the ground in the camera

Hope this can help you. I am not aware of any commercial kit
that can operate at that distance this camera. The best for short control are Bebop from Germany.

It actually reads “PSD NG” not “PFD NG”. This was a well known problem with the 100a. There is a fix for it (a flat cable that needs to be reseated and cleaned). However this does not allways
help for good, if the problem returns again the only solution is to change the entire lens assy, then it goes away for ever.
By the way the actual flashing notice is false and you can carry
on working, just ignorning it, however if the picture starts to
jump vertically, you have no choice but to fix it

While you are recording HD in any way (output through Firewire or on P2 card)the DV section is totally disabled. In fact you cannot even insert or take out a tape as there is no power going to the mechanism.
Audio in HD is channeled according to the inputs you select. If 1 and 2 are external XLR’s then 3 & 4 will be the internal mic. You cannot record from both the XLR’s and the RCA’s at the same time.
