    Greetings.

Can you assist me with this problem.
I have a Panasonic DvX100A, when I turned it on 30 minutes ago, it keeps flashing “PFD NG”, when I record something it plays back ok…I think
Does anyone know what that means.
I do sincerely appreciate your response.

    Thanks

It actually reads “PSD NG” not “PFD NG”. This was a well known problem with the 100a. There is a fix for it (a flat cable that needs to be reseated and cleaned). However this does not allways
help for good, if the problem returns again the only solution is to change the entire lens assy, then it goes away for ever.
By the way the actual flashing notice is false and you can carry
on working, just ignorning it, however if the picture starts to
jump vertically, you have no choice but to fix it

Lance: My camera just started showing this message tonight. Is there a repair facility you can recommend and what would one expect to pay for service? Thanks for any help you can provide.
