    thanks, that sounds good.
So if the editor uses FCP, or Avid, it should be OK, if he uses something else like Edius, it won’t work

    right click on the viewer
‘Grab All Stills from Middle Frame’
you’ll then have all your grades in the stills tab.

Anyway for these things I like to create a new still page, but right click at the current still tab, and click Add Still Page

June 20, 2012 at 7:43 am in reply to: RAID, or Fibre Channel server?

    Thanks guys!
One more thing is a factor here, I’m located in Europe:) This complicates this purchase a bit.

Anyway I found that I could easily buy an Areca 1223x here (first I wanted to buy Rocketraid, but then I read that Areca is much more better). So as for the controller card, I’m good.

And also found the Proavio EB800MS and the S8MS at a dealer in England, but that’s twice the price as in the US…We’ll see.
    Thanks!

No reason for Fibre Channel. Also I’m looking for a setup around 8 disks.
I just wanted to ask, which would be the better way:)

So the best way is a RAID controller and an enclosure?

I also see a button on the upper right corner of the tracking window, that looks like maybe a full-screen button.
    (four arrows pointing outwards)

June 12, 2012 at 8:27 am in reply to: WWDC 2012: No New Mac Pro

I think this is a clear message: the Mac Pro line is not dead.
We just have to wait some more to get the refreshed ones with Thunderbolt, usb3, etc.etc.
