Hello all, we are pleased to release the no charge upgrade DaVinci Resolve 8.2.2 for Mac, Windows and Linux. Existing customers can download from our support web site.

Is it safe to upgrade from 8.2.1 now while in the middle of a project? If there’s any risk of messing up the project I won’t since 9 will be out soon anyway and I’m having zero issues with the older version.

My Avid Artist Color is no longer working. Tried uninstall reinstall and no luck.

Setting panel in preferences to None – restart resolve – set to your panel – restart. This fixed it for me.

Make an image of the whole system drive just to be sure. Or just don’t risk it 😉

Reading between the lines 9 won’t be out soon… if they are readying 8 for the camera release then 9 will not land till autumn (fall if you prefer).

Are there not other camera’s that shoot cinema DNG?

IBC is only a couple of months away. I’m sure one of the new “major” announcements is going to be “DaVinci Resolve 9 is available today”; of course with a few new features to get everybody exited.

I’d love to download this, but the blackmagic website is dowm. Do we know when it will be back up?
