yes, it solves the black lines around the edges, but not the white lines on the picture which are my problem.

in the 24 fps project export all stills.
open up the 25 fps project, and copy all grades for the clips.

the Davinci manual clearly states that you have to set the “timeline calculated at” option before adding media to the media pool, or starting grading.

What if you rename the V8 file? Once I did this with a beta-full install, and it worked.
Anyway: 10.6.8 is a no go for V9?

Bob, is this also true, if I have a 4-disk software RAID0 in my Mac Pro, in bays 1-4,
and have an SSD with the OSX on it under the optical drive?

I actually only want to upgrade to Mountain Lion on the SSD, not changing a drive.

yes, but I meant if it doesn’t work like this:

original R3D files edited in NLE -> AAF or XML -> Davinci imports XML, and original R3Ds
than the only way is:
original R3D files edited in NLE -> export full sequence in full resolution DPX with redlogfilm -> import the DPX sequence in Davinci, cut it up, and grade it.
this is what I meant under “DPX way”
