I am too having this problem – except my concern is that when i insert the rendered clip into windows movie maker – it remains to have that squarish look – where as my other footage which has not been inserted into after effects is wide – so as the scene changes it goes from squarish to wide and it just looks awkward…any idea on how to solve this or will it some how just go to wide when i burn it out? I just seems so unlikely of working to me..

It doesnt happen in the view screen- only when I render it out and open it in windows media player or in widows movie maker (the editing program i am currently using) it still comes out as square

For now the only thing i’ve been using for editing is Windows movie maker and it there it comes up as square still, idk why but it just wont come out wide.

Do you see any problem using Windows Movie Maker?
