  • I had the same problem and the same fix… I turned off Adobe CEF Helper in the Activity monitor, and when I retried the update it went ahead no probs.

  • I purchased flip4mac initially to convert back into wmv, but that was entirely unsatisfactory.
    I ended up converting to mov using Quicktime conversion after many time-consuming test renders…
    I played around with the presets and variations and managed to get within the file size limit, but I wouldn’t say it was that great. The text on screen was just readable but certainly not as clear as the original wmv files.

    I am having exactly the same problem. Very strange – the image looks great unrendered, then bad when rendered – ie pixellated.
    I am receiving the files from a client and we’ve gone back and forth heaps of times trying different types of files etc, but still having the problem. I’m sure this never used to happen…
    Any help much appreciated.
