Thanks for your assistance.
For compression setting, we have adjusted it to the highest setting and our end product is MPEG 2 DVD. Do you have any suggestion to improve the quality and the sharpness of the object in movie?
Thanks again and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply and sorry for checking the answer late.
Can you explain further about what you said:
‘It’s also a very common problem to have your field dominance wrong (upper field first/lower field first)’
What do you mean by upper/lower field?
Thanks for your assistance again!

Hi,
I did install some Chinese fonts for my winXP and my AE version is 6.5.
When I input Chinese font into the composition, the ‘?’ appears.
I managed to input Chinese font in Photoshop. I’m only facing the problem in AE.
Hope you could help.
Thanks so much for your kind assistance.

I’m using WinXP Pro OEM English version.
My windows can support Chinese as I’m using Chinese Star to type chinese text. Can I use Chinese star in AE or does AE support Chinese Star?
Hope you can advise.
Thanks so much.

Hi Michael,
I found that if to modify GIF in Image Ready, I can only save it as PSD file and there will be no more animation like in GIF in the new PSD file. Am I right and is this supposed to be?
What I need is he animation of GIF maintains but without the background of the GIF file.
Hope you can advise on this.
Thanks and regards,

Thanks a lot Muiisal for you reply.
I think it’s quite hard to describe the exact problem that I’m facing now. The boxes that I mentioned are not the yellow box that appears when I select that layer. It appears in the MPEG file. These boxes are like something that shown not clear or blurred. They are like in a movie, when there is censored part and the boxes appear to cover that part of the screen. Do you get what I mean?
When I create a solid bar – white or black, I create according to the size that I want without resize it to bigger one. It’s just the original size.
Hope this will clarify and give you a clearer picture about my problem.
Thanks a lot!!

Hi Aharon,
I’m Jaz’s colleague. Would like to check with you about some tools in AE.
How do I make a flip over motion from bottom layer to upper layer? Do I have to apply effect on it or can I manually do it myself by using rotation/position/scale?
Hope you could assist and advise.
Thanks so much.

Hi Mr. Kingston,
Thanks for your feedback. Hope below info will clarify my question.
I am using AE6.5 to work on some wedding video album. I use DIVX 5.11 Codec to render AE project to AVI format and use AVI to VCD, SVCD and DVD converter to convert AVI file to VCd compliant format.
The problem I am facing now is the quality of the VCD is very bad. It is very blurred. The composition size is 720×480 and 352×240. The photo resolution is 1536 x 1024. I have changed the DIVX setting to high defination, but it seems the problem arisen during the conversion from AVI to VCD.
My questions are:-
1) Does AE support VCD format (means Mpeg1) so that I do not need to use converter as i heard there will be some data loss during conversion?
2) If AE does not support, is there any converter that is recommend from the experts?
If I’m using DVD resolution which is 720 X 480 but after rendering, I convert the AVI file (in DVD resolution) to MPEG and burn into VCD, will it affect the quality of the movie in VCD? Shall I use VCD resolution which is 352 X 240 in order to obtain better quality? Does the resolution of DVD or VCD affect the quality of movie?
Thank you very much if you could assist me.
Cheers,
Kim
