You can download Warren Eagles’ Resolve 11 tutorials from FXPHD. It costs $199 but he is pretty good. Hope this helps. https://www.fxphd.com/store/fastforward/resolve-v11-fundamentals/
He also has a advanced course. I haven’t tried Colour Grading Central’s tuts yet, so can’t comment.Kannan Raghavan

Hi John,
I’ve been following your posts regarding FCPX with interest for a long time now. I’d like to see your edit suite, the way it’s setup with monitors etc. Is it possible to post a pic?
I’d like to know what monitors (audio and video) you’re using and the general layout of your suite:)
Cheers

Yes, for sure. Unless you’re shooting 4K, the extreme pro cards should be good. The U3 cards offer much better performance at a higher price. Most of my industry fiends use the Sandisks as they are easily available here in Singapore.
A couple more options.

Go for the Sandisk Extreme Pro series. Really good cards for shooting HD videos.

Can you post a screen shot Oliver? It’d help us point you in the right direction.
Usually, the talent’s skin would fall in the mid tones. So, after adjusting the contrast for the shot, pull the mid tone colour wheel away from the colour cast present in the shot. I’ve never used PrPro, but this should work in any NLE with a 3-way colour corrector. Hope this helps.Kannan Raghavan

Just adding to what John says, I’ve been using the Mini Display to DVI and the Mini Display to VGA adapters for a while now without any hiccups. When I’m editing on-site, I get the facility provider to get me a VGA or DVI monitor as my 2nd monitor. The additional screen real estate is so worth it:)
