I tried that – no luck. one other thing… I get the prompt, “the project size is to large for the selected media. Do you want to continue anyway?” I checked the settings and I’m set to 8.5 GB. My project size is 7.1GB. I don’t understand why I would be getting that message.

In my case there is only one file involved. DVDA (3.0c) tells me to place a marker between two points. when I do that DVDA doesn’t see the marker and keeps giving me the same message.

Yes, it specified a time range but I had a marker within that time range. I even added a marker and it still doesn’t recognize that it’s there within the suggested time range.

I get a prompt to add a break point marker between to points on the video. How do you add a break point? I tried just adding a marker and calling it “Break point” on the timeline in DVDA but that doesn’t seem to work.

Right now I have 24/96 AIF files and I can’t import them into Vegas. Am i doing something wrong or should I have them converted to PCM files first?

That works fine if you want your text to be in the dead center of the screen. If you want to place the text on the bottom left hand corner of the screen then the text wil not stay in one place as it zooms out. I want the text to stay in the same location of the screen as it zooms out and I want to fade out the text before the zoom is completed. I’ve tried numerous ways and it appears that I can’t do this in Vegas. I would love it if someone would prove me wrong.
Here’s what I’m trying to accomplish:
Text fades in at bottom left of screen with zoom out effect in progress
Text fades out in same position before zoom out completes.

Hi Doug…good to see another Fasternaut is still around! Versin 6 now allows nested projects. I think you will find some old (no pun intended) friends hanging out here. You’ll also find a quick answer to your problems from Ed and the others. Sounds like old times doesn’t it?
Cheers, Kevin McCarthy ps; I still have two Video Machines cranking out progams everyday, but Vegas ROCKS!

Try http://www.fullcompass.com They just built me a Windows 64 bit MONSTER machine with Vegas & DVDA installed. They have a great warranty and the price was right. I’ve done business with them for 15 years and never had a problem.
