I’m trying to burn a dual layer 8.5 gig DVD. I have set the size limit in options. It has asked me where I would like the Break point etc. The problem is it only wants to allow me to auther a DVD It does not want to burn it. I have a dual layer burner everything seems to be as it should be. Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance

At what point are you hitting the problem? Any errors or warnings that need to be taken care of?

I get a prompt to add a break point marker between to points on the video. How do you add a break point? I tried just adding a marker and calling it “Break point” on the timeline in DVDA but that doesn’t seem to work.

everytime DVDA has asked me about the break point it would list possible points (sometimes only 1 file , sometimes several files ) and i just click (highlight) on the file where i want the break point ..

It didn’t specify a time range where the break point had to be?

Yes, it specified a time range but I had a marker within that time range. I even added a marker and it still doesn’t recognize that it’s there within the suggested time range.

In my case there is only one file involved. DVDA (3.0c) tells me to place a marker between two points. when I do that DVDA doesn’t see the marker and keeps giving me the same message.

What if you let it just automatically pick its own point?

I tried that – no luck. one other thing… I get the prompt, “the project size is to large for the selected media. Do you want to continue anyway?” I checked the settings and I’m set to 8.5 GB. My project size is 7.1GB. I don’t understand why I would be getting that message.

    Hi there,
Did you ever get to the bottom of that dual layer problem?
The exact same thing is happening to me at the moment.
    thanks,
