Thanks for your answer, al my settings were OK, both output mapping, audio settings aswel as the settings on the mac itself. It turns out that I used de 1080P sequence preset of blackmagic design, and apparently if you do not have a blackmagic audio card or something it just won’t play our audio.

Didn’t think that it would be an issue.

But I think I solved the problem a few minutes after I posted this.
It turnes out that when I changed the color profile in photoshop from the standard sRGB IEC61966-2.1 to for example AppleRGB ,in the advanced options menu before opening a new project, the drop down menu in motion does show up, and I can choose to import all layers.

So it seems that motion3 can’t see a layered .psd file when it’s made with that particular color profile…..odd enough.
