Yes, I have checked out and used the Dell in composet mode and DVI mode without the decklink in the loop and it works fine so that isn’t the problem and I have updated the HDlink and still no picture in FCP or other wise. How can I check the card and see if its functioning?

A Radeon 9600, frame rate is 29.94. Native HDV codec from a Sony FX 1 into FCP 5.

I just purchased dv matte blast for motion and it is unbelieably good and easy to use. I’m using it on HDV footage too!
Try the demo on thier site, that will tell you if it will work for your needs.
