Bummer. Yeah, I just realized that last night revisiting the product page. I noticed they said nothing about “Advanced Renderer” or “Cineman” under the Broadcast section.

UPDATE: Problem solved. The “Render HUD” box was checked in my Render Options.

Thanks. It sounds like the guy lied to him who sold him the camera (the guy he bought it from said he could do this with the Lacie rugged drive, which I thought was not probable). Again, thanks for the help. I’ll pass the word on.

Update: we tried a cheap little handheld dv camera to see if it would be able to log and capture and it worked just fine. So it must be an issue with the HVX200. I find it doubtful that all 3 cameras are faulty.

I had the same issue with the Emerge preset. I found that I had to disable the fill colour and make sure my stroke was at least 1 pxl. But depending on the size of the text, you’ll want to play around with the stroke sizes.
