Emerge Text Effect does not Work…
Wondering if anyone can help me with this,
I love the look of that text effect emerge, but for some reason it refuses to cooperate. All the other text effects I’ve applied have worked just fine, but this is the only one that I seem to have trouble with.
because it’s more of a visual problem then anything I made a short video of me going through the process (including previewing in bridge so you can see how it SHOULD look).

I had the same issue with the Emerge preset. I found that I had to disable the fill colour and make sure my stroke was at least 1 pxl. But depending on the size of the text, you’ll want to play around with the stroke sizes.
