How to install/use 3delight in C4D R13?
Total noob question here. I’ve been reading about the benefits of using 3rd party renderers in C4D and thought I’d try it out. However, I cannot for the life of me get it to work. I’ve downloaded 3delight and ran the terminal script (which I THINK worked) and now I’m trying to get it to work inside C4D. I’m using the BROADCAST edition of r13 (possibly the issue?)
When I go to my render preferences, I see nothing about using a different renderer. In my Render settings, where I choose which renderer to use, I see Standard, Physical, Software, and Hardware. I don’t see anything referring to Cineman or 3delight. Do I need to move the 3delight folder somewhere in my Maxon folder? Or is 3delight now obsolete in R13? Or is it because I’m using Broadcast and not Studio that I do not have this option?

Bummer. Yeah, I just realized that last night revisiting the product page. I noticed they said nothing about “Advanced Renderer” or “Cineman” under the Broadcast section.
