Its been a while and i didn’t do the the math but I think these were frame numbers.
    So at 30fps one minute would be 30frames x 60seconds = 1800
    10 minutes would be 18000
There are many free time code calculators on line.. try this if you don’t want to download and install anything.

    https://www.michaelcinquin.com/tools/timecode_keykode

at the very bottom of the page you can enter the frame number and it will spit out the time code. (Be sure to enter the frames per second, as this will effect the calculation)

    Once again hope this helps

I was able to get by using Premiere CS4.
I used Flash Cue Markers. (Marker/Set Flash Cue Marker)
You can enter a lot of info here but for my needs I just left all the fields empty. I just needed the time code.

When you are done inserting your markers use Export/Media, and set the Format: to FLV|F4V.
On the left side of the export panel, just below the yellow timeline you will see a +, -, a folder icon, and a disc icon. Select the disc icon to save the cue points as a xml file. If all you need are the marker time codes you don’t even need to render the file.

The XML file can be opened with any text editor or even imported into MS-Excell.
It takes a little clean up to get this xml file looking good.
It’s up to you to handle it from there.

    Hope this helped. Good Luck.

I will give The FLV Meta Data Injector a try but just reading that webpage gave me a little more insight as to what might be going on.

    Thanks again

    Aren’t we all….

But seriously get the most powerful system you can afford.
You can never have enough Horse Power when it come to a production system.

Last time I priced one out I was pushing the $3k mark.

I don’t know if you have a HEX editor on your system. I know I didn’t before all this crap started, but if you do you can open a flv file with it and see all the embedded data…there’s tons of it.

If you care to give it a look see. You can download one for yourself here.

    Thanks again for trying.

    Hey Vince,
Thanks again… Tried the Windows 7 thing before… didn’t help.
But the Preferences setting is a new one, trying that now.
    Will let you know.

    Vince,
Thanks for your response but that check box actually reads “Include Source XMP Metadata”.
Deselecting it only prevents AME from ALSO including any metadata from your source files, but it still embeds it own metadata based on the setting of the new/output file.

Believe me I thought I had it figured out when I found that little button too.

    Keep’em coming.

    Vince you’re a LIFE SAVER!!!!
Burning the new DVD right now, just to be sure, but the project did play WITH audio in the Encore timeline so no reason to think it would not be there on the DVD itself!!!
    Thanks again.
I don’t know what I’d do with out this forum and the people on it.
