Have you googled the error?
The whole reason I asked about the scandisk / defrag was because recently (in the last month and a half) I had not one but two instances (different computers) that had problems – one with a printer and another with some of my own VB software. I ran a scandisk which reported that it found and fixed a lot of errors. Low and behold, after it was done, it worked normally again.. Too bad you weren’t as lucky.
Sorry man, but other than googling this or contacting Adobe Support (for however many bucks an hour they charge) I’m out of suggestions..
Ok, well, one more series of questions.. Is this only when you use Dynamic link? Or does it happen when you have both programs opened with unrelated projects in each?)
Did you try to go to the Uninstall / Change / Repair control panel?
Good luck

Hmm.. I had a feeling you’d say that you didn’t install anything..
Can you post the exact error message – might help to figure this out..
Sorry I’m not more help yet..

Yes, it turned out to be a mono track. Figures, after I posted this I returned to the forum and instead of searching for answers I was just reading and I stumbled across the same issue just a couple threads down. Don’t know how I missed it.Thanks for your time!

Thanks so much for that Jack. If I understand you right, it’s not exactly what I had envisioned – would this way keep the road flat and the camera would just pass by the hills / valley’s? I was hoping for a way to make the path (that is the road) dip and rise as if the road were actually going up and down the hills..
Anyway, I’ll give it a try to see how things work.. And I’ll check out the tutorial you mentioned..
Oh, I don’t really have my comp yet – I’m just playing around with the project that was included in that tutorial.. Trying to get an understanding of what I’m doing and see if I couldn’t figure out a way to warp the path in the way I wanted..
Hmm.. I wonder.. Would an expression be able to make the path dip and rise every so often..
I’m sure that this would be easier in a 3-d program but I don’t own any and, well, don’t really have the budget right now if you know what I mean.. 🙂
Thanks again!
Man this stuff is fun!

Silly (but necessary) questions..
Did you install anything recently?
How about un-install?
Make any changes to your system?
Defragged your drives lately?
Checked your drives for errors (scan-disc)?
I’m guessing that you have Visual Studio installed – is that true?
Of course if you have a system restore you could restore to a point where this wasn’t happening..

Ok, it’s finished! Awesome stuff!
My last system did take about 2 days (without any sort of noise reduction!)

That was it.. The first pass took 15 minutes while other stuff (minor) was running. In the middle of the second pass right now.
Thanks Vince!

Thanks Vince,
I may have tried the noise reduction – though I don’t need to – was just curious. And yes, my system got a 5.2 rating.. I’ll play around and see how not using the noise reduction works out though. Will report back with my findings.–KTFA

Please excuse my ignorance if I’m wrong on this but can’t you just export it to uncompressed avi (or some other format, say mpg) and then use the DivX encoder to compress it?
