Thanks Chris – I’ll try that – wonder why Apple’s compressor makes a bluray into h264 but Adobe makes it an mpeg 2? Thought h264 was better no?

What is AME? Have not ever used Encore…do I export a pro res file from PP then bring that into Encore or what are steps?

And I know the new mac pro is more than just cometic – but I’m referring to no one is releasing yet a touch screen style coupled with voice activated and motion sensor system that really edits and works the natural way a human thinks – hard/software needs to learn the way we want to individually work and be an extension of the thoughts…that’s what’s years and years away from being given to us…

You got that so right – was hoping for Apple to show us 4K editing fast, on two 4K monitors, no rendering with fast output, etc. Instead It’s a tease for some carnival side show. Cosmetics mean nothing, give us what we need to perform edits as fast and easy as an extension of our thoughts…but no one can do that, so instead we get something that will be laughed at in 4 years, then made to think we need something else new.

Obviously they’ll give details at product launch but it won’t be editing as fast as an extension of the editor’s thoughts…probably 30 years from now due largely to marketing delays and business reasons.

Was about to buy latest OS to upgrade from Snow Leopard – so I take it FC P 7.0.3/Studio 3 actually does work no problem on Mountain Lion then?

OK, thanks for thoughts…main concern was can FC Studio 3 even be “read” by latest OS, was it even possible…

but I know there is a risk, just was wondering if can do it, then how and anything special have to do or just install OS and FC STUDIO 3 will work…wonder – any video tutorials out there that might show how to?
